Based on your flight arrival schedule, it will take a 30-40 minutes transfer to Maafushi Island where you will stay for the next 5 days and 4 nights. Expect a warm welcome into Velana Blu by a hotel representative upon your arrival at the island, who will assist you with your luggage and show you to your room. Standard check-in time is 2pm on the day of your arrival. Unwind, relax and indulge until you prepare for your tours and activities.
A grand buffet will be laid out for a breakfast feast to kickstart your day brimming with adventure. A half day is dedicated to a choice of excursions from snorkeling with turtles, to dolphin watching or to visiting a sandbank. It's highly recommended not to miss out on the marvellous snorkeling opportunities and couple it with either dolphin watching or a visit to the sandbank. Afterwards, come back to the hotel and rest your tired limbs in the cosy interiors of the room.
The 3rd day of your stay is meant to be one where you loiter around, sunbath on the beach, snorkel or participate in outdoor activities offered by the hotel. The night will bring with it a surreal experience: fishing with the island experts. Prepare to depart the hotel at 7pm and you will be in good hands until you come back just in time to catch the aroma of your dinner wafting from the culinary section of the hotel. Our chefs will serve you your very own catch for the day as a delicious dish to relish with your dinner.
